second, what i posted in another thread was that, basically, after using it for about 2-3 weeks fairly regularly (i was doing p90x at the time), i noticed a few things: 1) the paint in the corners and along the top of my door frame was starting to crack 2) these paint cracks seemed to gradually be widening after the first 2-3 weeks. Just because you might find an attorney out there that will take your case doesn't make it right either, there are plenty of parasitic lawyers in this country. I know its a longshot with this because of the situation and how to prove that. What im asking is if anyone has had anything similar happen to them. again i dont even know how that works because i have no money to hire an attorney. i spoke to an attorney explained my case and they will look into it and get back at me. i mean when friends come over they at times will get on the wrong side subconsciously i mean its a bar most people think they can do it on either side.

i understand my dumbness on getting on the wrong side of the thing but i dont remember anything in the box like saying no dont get on the wrong side it could be dangerous. A buddy of mine gave me the idea to see if i could sue the maker iron gym for having no disclaimer on the bar saying not to get on the opposite side it could come down type of thing. im trying to do this financial assistance w/ a program the hospital offers but its not looking good. After everything ive been through with this incident, im now over $30,000 in debt with hospital bills.

i paid $600 upfront just for the surgery to be done so i could use my knee again. i know totally sucks cause i had to go through different therapeutic surgeons to even actually see me w/o insurance. reason im posting is for some insight because i just got home and im now receiving the bills. pretty much anything involving bending the knee. After Emergency room and surgery to get everything back in place im now in recovery state have an immobilizer on my knee and out of commission on working out.

The left patella (kneecap) cracked as soon as i hit the door, there was a hole in my knee instead. I got on the bar and before repping out 3 reps at the top of the pull, i came hard on concrete with the bar in my hands. on the opposite side of where the hammer bars for hammer pullups. The only different thing done is that i got on the bar on the wrong side. I have it resting on the garage door frame and so far its worked til about 3 weeks back. its the one that goes can attach to the doorframe and uses the frame to hold ur weight up, no screws or bolts needed to attach. Ok for starters I was always iffy on the construction or safety of the pull up bar.
